This is a REMOTE, home-based position that works with our local Aston, PA facility. You will represent Hydro, Inc. in an assigned territory covering Western New York, Western Pennsylvania & West Virginia and focus not only on the O&G industry but also on the general industrial and power generation markets. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the role of aftermarket Regional Account Manager, Pumps will have outstanding technical skills, practiced sales skills, a go-getter attitude with the desire to get out in the field, build relationships and make sales every day. Ideally, you will come directly from the Industrial Pump industry, but we will consider strong candidates from closely related markets.


To be a good fit for this opportunity, your will be able to:

 

Essential Job Accountabilities:

        Sell and support pump products and services including aftermarket engineered pump repairs, field service, Centaur sensors, Reliability and Parts.

        Plan and execute sales calls to new and existing customers in assigned geographical area and reports sales activities in CRM Software.

        Provide continuous improvement in sales coverage and effectiveness developing key areas and markets to include market share information and action plans.

        Define and assist management in developing solution-based proposals that will demonstrate product value to new and existing customers while optimizing revenue and profit of sales.

        Provide technical support to customers and interfaces with engineering to assure best hydraulic fit and optimal equipment efficiency.

        Participate in weekly production /sales meeting to inform management of current and future activity.

        Manage travel and entertainment expenses in accordance with published budgets and corporate policies.

        Grow sales within geographic territory in alignment with assigned revenue and new account development targets.

        Effectively promote all of Hydro's value-added products and services, utilizing a "Total Solutions" sales strategy.

        Travel up to 75% for in-person meetings at customer facilities within assigned geographic territory.


Competency:

        Possess the ability to define problems, collect data and establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

        Have outstanding Customer Service skills and abilities in conjunction with a positive attitude and demeanor in sales settings and at site facilities.

        Superior technical skills with an in-depth knowledge of various types of pumps and pumping systems and a demonstrated knowledge of historical pump information along with a solid understanding of theoretical pump technologies.

        Above average PC skills including Microsoft suite applications, with above average Excel experience.

        Must possess a high attention to detail.

        Ability to facilitate solutions in a fast paced, complex technology, and business environment.

        Ability to work independently and be self-motivated while also being able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

        Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline or equivalent combined working experience.

        5 years of hands-on, working experience in a Mechanical Engineering environment and outside sales and pump services industry exposure.

        Superior Pump knowledge and experience, or Heavy Industrial experience or closely similar rotating equipment discipline is required.

        Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

        Ability to write professional and technical reports and procedures.

        Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and CRM Software.

 

Work Environment:

        Work is generally performed in an office environment, however as part of this position, there are many instances that will require activities in an industrial setting.

        Individual will be required to comply with safety standards and regulations and use proper Personal Protective Equipment while in any industrial setting.

        The employee will on occasion be exposed to, work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles while at the sites or in the field.

        The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

        On occasion, when in the field employee may experience changes in temperature, weather and local environmental conditions.
